Mary Grace, the Philippines’ beloved bakery café known for its iconic Ensaymadas and Cheese Rolls, is officially expanding overseas — and Singapore gets the very first taste.
After three decades of warming Filipino homes with its signature pastries and heartfelt café experience, Mary Grace is stepping beyond Philippine shores with an exclusive online Christmas pop-up this November, followed by its first full-service Singapore café opening in the first half of 2026.
A Filipino Icon With a Story Baked From the Heart
Mary Grace didn’t begin as a business — it began as a mother’s expression of love.
Founder Mary Grace Dimacali started baking at her kitchen table in 1994, balancing motherhood with a deep passion for creating comfort through food. What started as small batches sold at local bazaars eventually turned into a stall in 2002, then cafés, then nationwide expansion. Today, the brand has grown to more than 140 cafés and kiosks in the Philippines.
Despite its growth, the heart of Mary Grace remains unchanged: warmth, connection, and the simple joy of feeling at home.
Reflecting on the brand’s milestone, Dimacali shared, “Bringing Mary Grace to Singapore truly is an affirmation of my life’s work… My hope is that everyone who walks through our doors will find warmth and connection, making Mary Grace a true home away from home.”
Singapore’s First Taste: The 2025 Online Christmas Pop-Up
Before the café officially opens, Singaporeans can enjoy a preview of Mary Grace through its online-exclusive Christmas pop-up running from late November to December.
On the menu:
Ensaymadas (S$31.50 for a box of six)
Soft, airy, buttery pastries topped with premium aged Edam cheese from Holland. These are the ensaymadas that defined a generation of Filipino comfort food.
Cheese Rolls (S$24.50 for a box of six)
Light, pillowy rolls with a velvety cheese center, dusted with sugar that caramelizes into a delicate crunch when toasted. A perfect balance of softness and sweetness.
Every item is made to order, prepared fresh on the exact day of delivery — the same practice that made Mary Grace a household name. Pre-orders open 21 November, with deliveries starting 25 November on selected dates. And yes, with past pop-ups selling out within hours, early pre-ordering is highly recommended.
A Full Mary Grace Café Arrives in 2026
The first international Mary Grace café will open in Singapore in 2026, designed to mirror the warmth and charm of its Philippine branches. Expect an inviting space inspired by the brand’s homey aesthetic, cozy corners made for slow moments, and the familiar aroma of freshly baked pastries filling the air.
Alongside its classics, the Singapore café will offer:
- Best-sellers from Manila
- New Singapore-exclusive menu items
- Signature hot chocolate and pastries
- The same care, soul, and attention to detail that built the brand’s legacy
Because for Mary Grace, food has never been just food — it’s a reminder of home, wherever home may be.
