Iconic Filipino Rock Band Eraserheads All Set for ‘Huling El Bimbo’ World Tour 2024

You’ll definitely ‘get by with a smile’ with their setlist. Eraserheads have confirmed that they are expanding their world tour to more cities outside the Philippines this year. Eraserheads had a successful Ang Huling El Bimbo concert and North American shows last year.

Ely Buendia is thrilled to perform for fans and meet new listeners.

“We love touring. We love going to new places. Just the experience of being on the road and playing music for fans is always something to look forward to.” He added, “It’s also great to see young faces in the audience. That just means that the music translates to the younger generation, which is awesome.”

Here’s Everything We Know So Far About Eraserheads ‘Huling El Bimbo’ World Tour 2024

The four-member group has been a household name in the OPM industry, known for their timeless hits like Ang Huling El Bimbo, With a Smile, Spolarium, Alapaap, and Huwag Kang Matakot. Their music remains relevant and relatable even today.

Eraserheads are expanding their Huling El Bimbo World Tour with new dates and locations this year. Additionally, they will perform in North America, Asia, and the Middle East from July to December 2024.

Moreover, the band consists of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan. Furthermore, the tour is being promoted by Tiana Entertainment, Live Nation PH, ABS-CBN Global Asia Pacific, and ABS-CBN Global Middle East.

Eraserhead’s ‘Huling El Bimbo’ World Tour 2024
  • July 6 – Hawaii Convention Center (Honolulu, USA)
  • July 12 – The Warfield (San Francisco, USA)
  • July 13 – The Peacock Theater (Los Angeles, USA)
  • July 19 – Pechanga Resort Casino (Temecula)
  • July 21 – The Great Canadian Casino Resort (Toronto, Canada)
  • November 23 – The Arena @ Expo (Singapore)
  • December 8 – Dubai Exhibition Center (Dubai)

To enhance the fan experience, Eraserheads are revamping their 2023 setlist to feature more underrated tracks and cover songs. Frontman Ely Buendia revealed that they are making changes to their setlist for the upcoming tour.

“Eighty percent is decided by the fans, fifteen percent is decided by family and friends. If we were to choose 100% of the setlist, baka wala nang pumunta sa gigs because it would be super deep cuts and obscure E-heads songs, which we, as the parents of those songs, would want them to be more exposed to the world, just to give them a chance. But it’s not a perfect world, and we have to do it for the fans, so most of the songs are still the greatest hits fan favorites, with a little bit of the 5% thrown in the fire.”

Meanwhile, an Eraserheads film is also in the works, helmed by DVent Productions CEO and director Maria Diane Ventura. Titled Eraserheads: Combo On The Run, the film offers an inside look at the band’s iconic Manila reunion show in December 2022. The film is currently in its final stages of post-production, and it will premiere at a major convention in July in San Diego, California, USA.
