LOOK: IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant is Serving All-You-Can-Eat Crayfish Every Friday This September

September 12, 2025

September 12, 2025

For just ₱495, you can feast on unlimited trays of crayfish at IKEA, plus salads, desserts, and bottomless drinks—all month long.

Messy, tasty, and irresistibly flavorful. Eating crayfish isn’t neat, but that’s what makes it fun. Crack open the shells, get your fingers messy, and savor the juicy meat. It feels more like an experience than just a meal. Crayfish has the sweetness of shrimp and the richness of lobster. It’s the happy middle ground you didn’t know you needed.

And here’s the best part: you don’t need a plane ticket to Sweden to try it. For the whole month of September, IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant is throwing a crayfish buffet party every Friday night. Yep, unlimited trays of crayfish plus sides, desserts, and bottomless drinks—all at a price that won’t hurt your wallet.

Here’s How to Avail IKEA’s Crayfish Buffet Party

IKEA Pasay offers all-you-can-eat crayfish

Aside from being absolutely delicious, crayfish is also surprisingly good for you. It’s packed with protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential minerals like calcium and magnesium. That means when eaten in moderation, it helps support strong bones, brain function, and even healthy, glowing skin. The only downside? Crayfish isn’t exactly something you see every day in Metro Manila, and when it does pop up, it can get pricey depending on supply.

That’s why IKEA bringing back its Crayfish Buffet Party is such a win. The brand not only allows you to indulge in those cravings but also brings a piece of authentic Swedish culture closer to home. As officially posted on their social media page: “We’re bringing out the crayfish, the songs, and the party hats to celebrate an authentic Swedish tradition.”

For just ₱495 per head (if you’re an IKEA Family member) or ₱595 for non-members, you can eat as much crayfish as you want, paired with unlimited salads, desserts, and bottomless drinks. And kids aren’t left out either. The buffet price for little ones is just ₱295. The feast happens every Friday of September from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., so you’ve got three solid hours to indulge, refill, and repeat.

To join in, all you need to do is grab your tickets at the Swedish Restaurant on Level 4 of IKEA Pasay. Head to Counter 7, pick up your passes, and you’re good to go.

Why This Feast Matters (More Than You Think)

We all know how food plays a central role in every society. We Filipinos know this very well. Whether it’s inihaw by the beach, lechon during fiestas, or samgyup nights with barkada, meals are where memories are made. The Swedes have their own version of this tradition, too. Every summer, they gather for kräftskiva—big crayfish parties where people eat as much crayfish as possible, down it with snaps or beer, and sing drinking songs at the top of their lungs. No shame, just good vibes.

And now, you don’t need a Schengen visa to experience the same tradition. IKEA is bringing it right to Manila. Whether you’re already a crayfish fan, curious to try it for the first time, or just looking for a fun Friday night plan with friends and family, this buffet is definitely worth checking out.

Seafood, unlimited sides, bottomless drinks, and a taste of Swedish culture—all for less than what you’d spend on a typical Friday night out? That’s a steal. Just make sure to come hungry, ready to roll up your sleeves, and maybe even hum a drinking song or two.

So, don’t sleep on it. Get your tickets, head to IKEA Pasay this September, and enjoy the unlimited crayfish experience that’s messy, tasty, and totally unforgettable. See you?
