‘The FRIENDS Experience’ is Coming to Manila this October!

September 10, 2025

September 10, 2025

Get ready to plop down on the iconic orange sofa and step right into Monica’s apartment, Central Perk, and all your favorite FRIENDS moments with Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe!

You can have all your favorite movies, series, actors, and actresses. But when it comes to a true comfort show, nothing compares to FRIENDS. It’s the series you can watch on repeat when you’re sad, bored, stressed, or too tired to scroll through Netflix’s endless catalog. That’s why both millennials and Gen Z almost always go back to it.

Despite premiering way back in 1994, more than three decades ago, FRIENDS continues to feel timeless. The writing, the jokes, the messy love lives, the career struggles, the awkward situations, and above all, the unshakable bond of chosen family—it all still resonates up until now.

Whether it’s Ross yelling “pivot!” for the hundredth time or Joey’s classic “how you doin’?,” the show remains comedic gold. If you’re a longtime fan or a new one, there’s exciting news. This October, you can finally step into the world of FRIENDS. The FRIENDS Experience is officially coming to Manila.

Here’s What You Need to Know About The FRIENDS Experience: The One in Manila

For the first time ever, The FRIENDS Experience is coming to Asia, with the Philippines as the lucky first stop. From October 8 to November 30, fans can head to The Space at Solaire in Parañaque City. There, they can explore an interactive museum and gift shop dedicated entirely to the beloved sitcom.

Originally created in New York, this immersive attraction has already toured across the United States, Canada, and Europe. It has drawn thousands of fans eager to relive the magic of the iconic series. Now, it’s Manila’s turn to join the fun.

What to Expect: Nostalgia Overload

So, what can you expect? Basically, nostalgia overload. The FRIENDS Experience features detailed set recreations from the show that you can walk through, pose in, and fully enjoy.

That means you’ll get to see Monica’s kitchen and Joey and Chandler’s apartment, complete with the matching recliners. The famous orange sofa at Central Perk will also be there, along with the iconic fountain from the opening sequence.

Fans can check out memorable props and costumes too. Joey’s Hugsy the penguin, Phoebe’s Supergirl outfit, and Ross’s holiday armadillo costume are all on display. And yes—the infamous “pivot” couch is waiting for you. It’s like stepping right into the most memorable moments of the sitcom.

Official Statement from the Organizers

As CEO of Original X Productions, Stacy Moscatelli puts it: “We’re excited to introduce The FRIENDS Experience to Asia with its Manila debut, and we can’t wait to welcome fans to the famous orange sofa. The Experience invites guests to step into the world of the iconic series, relive favorite moments, and celebrate it like never before.”

Earlier this month, The FRIENDS Experience announced on social media that tickets are now officially on sale via TicketWorld. Prices start at P1,000 for General Admission, but if you want extra perks, there’s also a VIP ticket at P2,800, which includes priority queuing, a tote bag, and even a 10% discount on your second visit.

The Barkada Friends Bundle costs ₱5,300 and includes six General Admission tickets for the price of five—perfect for the whole gang. For super fans, the Ultimate VIP Friends Bundle is ₱4,000. It comes with an exclusive gift box, open entry at any time, and a special VIP lanyard.

The Experience will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm to 9 pm, and Fridays to Sundays from 10 am to 10 pm. It’s the perfect weekend plan for you and your barkada to bond just like Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe!

Why ‘FRIENDS’ Still Hits Different

It’s not just nostalgia that makes FRIENDS so appealing to millennials and Gen Z. The show ran for 10 seasons, from 1994 to 2004, and shaped how many of us view friendship, adulthood, and even relationships.

It also won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series. But beyond awards, its cultural impact has been massive. From classic catchphrases to hilarious one-liners, the show captured the struggles of navigating work, love, and friendships in your twenties and thirties. That universal appeal still resonates with young adult Filipinos today.

FRIENDS and Filipino Fans

Filipino fans, in particular, have connected with the warmth and humor of the show. It’s something you can watch with your barkada, siblings, or even parents—and still find something to laugh about. That’s why the 2021 special Friends: The Reunion became such a global event. Seeing the actors come back together felt like going back in time. It showed just how much the show has meant to fans through the years.

With The FRIENDS Experience coming to Manila, you won’t just watch FRIENDS—you’ll step inside its world. It’s the kind of experience that feels like a warm hug on daunting days.

Picture yourself sitting on the orange sofa or sipping coffee at Central Perk. You can even recreate Ross and Monica’s ridiculous dance routine for your Instagram reel. Don’t forget to stop by the official retail store, where you can grab exclusive merchandise to remember your visit.

So, whether you’re a longtime fan who can quote every episode or someone who just enjoys rewatching a few comfort episodes after work, this is definitely something you shouldn’t miss. Mark your calendars, message your barkada group chat, and plan your trip to Solaire this October. After all, how often do you get to say you literally hung out in Monica’s apartment or chilled on the Central Perk sofa?

This is your chance to live out your favorite FRIENDS moments in real life. Could it BE any more exciting?
