Filipino music takes the spotlight this November as the 38th Awit Awards powered by Vibe rolls out a #LEGIT celebration of OPM—uniting icons, rising stars, and fans in one stage and one movement.
What to Expect on Awards Night
Happening on November 16, 2025 at the Meralco Theater, the show brings star power and storytelling to center stage. Vibe jocks Dylan Menor, Elijah Canlas, Joao Constancia, Ana Ramsey, Maxie Andreison, Ryle Santiago, Paulo Angeles, Kych Minemoto, and Queenay Mercado will host the program and open with a special performance. The night also features live sets from Ben&Ben, BINI, Over October, Lola Amour, and Dionela. Viewers can watch live on TV5 or stream on the official pages of Vibe PH, TV5, MQuest Ventures, and the Awit Awards.
This year’s ceremony is a collaboration between PARI and MQuest Ventures’ youth-driven platform Vibe, blending credibility with modern access. As the organizers describe it, the partnership “delivers a fresh, inclusive, and #LEGIT celebration of Original Pilipino Music,” while honoring late OPM trailblazers whose impact still shapes the culture today. Under the direction of industry legend Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, the awards present five major sets of honors: Performance Awards, Genre Recording Awards, Special Recording Awards, Technical Achievement Awards, and the prestigious Grand Awards.
Beyond the Trophies: A Year-Round Movement
Before the main show, the Violet Carpet reimagines the fan experience. It turns the traditional red-carpet moment into an interactive hub where artists and audiences meet, connect, and celebrate creativity. Expect exclusive backstage content and nominee interviews from Vibe’s Gen V correspondents throughout the night.
More importantly, the Awit Awards powered by Vibe underscores a shared mission: to champion, elevate, and propel OPM forward. A panel of judges with deep experience in performance, songwriting, production, and media ensures that winners reflect “genuine artistry, innovation, and influence.” In other words, every artist who takes home a trophy earns “a lasting legacy in the history and future of OPM.”
Whether you are a day-one fan or a casual listener, this year’s Awit Awards invites you to show up for Filipino music. Tune in, sing along, and be part of a movement that connects, inspires, and uplifts—on awards night and beyond.
