Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Philippines’ Biodome

If you’re on the hunt for a new city adventure, look no further than the Philippine Biodome—the country’s first and only biodome. Located beside Manila Ocean Park, this newly opened attraction offers an exciting blend of wildlife encounters and urban exploration. Perfect for nature lovers with limited time to travel, it’s a sanctuary where adventure meets the wonders of Philippine biodiversity.

Inside of Philippines' First Biodome

Inside the biodome’s greenhouse-like structure, you’ll discover an impressive mix of aquatic, aerial, and land-based wonders. Your journey begins at the entrance with a magnificent koi fish tank, where the colorful fish glide gracefully, creating a stunning visual treat.

As you walk a little further, you’ll find an awe-inspiring 14-foot saltwater crocodile tank. This thrilling spectacle will leave you amazed. Continuing on, you’ll see a freshwater tank overhead. It reveals a breathtaking underwater world. Sea creatures swim gracefully above you in a crystal-clear tunnel, adding to the experience.

And the adventure doesn’t stop with the water. Get ready to marvel at some of nature’s most vibrant residents in the aviary, featuring birds like the majestic Rufous Hornbill, the striking Brahminy Kites, and the playful Budgerigars.

If you’re enchanted by colorful plumage, the sun conures are a must-see, as is the iconic blue and gold macaw. For a truly memorable experience, you may also join the interactive Show and Tell Activity, where you can get up close and personal with these feathered beauties, including the Philippine Eagle Owl.

Stunning Visuals and Photo Opportunities

If you prefer land animals, the Philippines’ Biodome has much to offer. You can meet adorable mallard ducks, Asian small-clawed otters, and Cape fur seals. Their playful antics will surely make you smile. These encounters are fun and educational. They provide a deeper appreciation for the biodiversity thriving in and around the Philippines.

Vertical gardens and vibrant green walls create stunning backdrops, ideal for capturing the perfect photo for your socials. If you’re seeking a thrill, don’t miss the indoor zipline, where you can glide through the biodome’s canopy for a bird’s-eye view of the entire sanctuary.

To top it all off, plan your visit during the evening to catch the enchanting Borealis Nights, a dazzling Northern Lights-inspired show. This magical display is the perfect way to end your day, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your adventure.
