A New Music and Arts Festival Is Coming to the South

July 22, 2026

July 22, 2026
A new music festival experience is heading south.

Harana Music Festival will make its debut in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, on November 28, 2026. Created by the team behind Aurora Music Festival, the new event promises a more intimate and relaxed celebration of Filipino music, art, food, and community.

Instead of focusing on massive productions, Harana Music Festival will highlight what makes live music feel meaningful. Expect raw vocals, real instruments, acoustic performances, and genuine interactions between artists and the audience.

A More Personal Way to Experience OPM

Harana Music Festival brings a fresh energy to the Philippine festival scene. Its stripped-down concept aims to make every performance feel closer and more personal.

According to the organisers, “It’s a festival where every song feels personal and every performance feels close.”

The upcoming lineup will feature a curated combination of beloved OPM artists, rising acoustic talents, and special collaborations created exclusively for the festival. While the full list of performers has yet to be revealed, the event already sets itself apart through its focus on musical authenticity.

This approach feels especially timely. While major festivals often rely on large stages, heavy production, and packed schedules, Harana invites audiences to slow down. It creates space for listeners to appreciate the lyrics, melodies, and stories behind each song.

At the same time, the festival remains accessible to different generations. Long-time OPM fans can reconnect with familiar favourites, while younger audiences can discover emerging artists and acoustic acts. As a result, Harana has the potential to bring together music lovers of all ages.

More Than Just a Music Festival

Beyond the performances, Harana Music Festival will offer a complete lifestyle experience designed around comfort, creativity, and connection.

Guests can explore dedicated food and matcha zones, handcrafted installations, community spaces, and chill zones throughout the festival grounds. Each area will contribute to what the organisers describe as a “serene, immersive environment perfect for unwinding and reconnecting.”

Rather than rushing from one performance to another, attendees can take their time, discover new food, meet fellow music fans, and enjoy the atmosphere. The experience feels less like a crowded concert marathon and more like a collective pause from everyday life.

Moreover, its Alabang location gives audiences in southern Metro Manila and nearby provinces easier access to a major music and arts event. For festivalgoers who usually travel north for large-scale shows, Harana offers a welcome change of scenery.

The combination of OPM, acoustic music, creative spaces, and laid-back energy positions Harana Music Festival as one of the most interesting new events to watch in 2026.

The complete artist lineup, ticket information, and additional festival details will be announced soon. Updates will be shared through the official Harana Music Festival Facebook page and website.
