Sip with Purpose: Starbucks Philippines Rewards Voters this May 12

May 10, 2025

May 10, 2025

This May 12, Starbucks Philippines is doing more than serving handcrafted coffee—it’s recognizing the power of every Filipino vote. In a bold nod to civic duty, the brand is offering a free single upsize on any handcrafted beverage for customers who show proof they voted. Yes, your ink-stained finger is your ticket to a larger cup and a louder voice.

A Brew for Every Ballot

Whether you’re team cold brew or a die-hard caramel macchiato fan, Starbucks is rewarding your participation in the upcoming elections with a thoughtful treat. On May 12, from 12:01AM to 11:59PM, all customers who present their index finger marked with indelible ink—the iconic post-voting proof—will receive a complimentary single upsize when they purchase a handcrafted beverage.

“This initiative celebrates not just coffee, but the commitment of Filipinos to make their voices heard,” the brand emphasized in its announcement. The offer is available across all Starbucks stores in the Philippines, for dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru transactions. Each customer may redeem up to two upsized drinks per transaction.

Important to note: the promo excludes deliveries and orders made via Mobile Order & Pay. However, perks like the P10 cup discount (for personal tumblers) and earning Stars through Starbucks Rewards still apply.

Empowerment in Every Cup

Starbucks Philippines has long championed local engagement. With over 34,000 stores globally and a deep-rooted presence in the country, the brand consistently finds creative ways to connect with communities.

“Every vote counts, and every cup can celebrate it,” the company declared—a message that resonates with a generation known for its advocacy and action. More than a caffeine boost, the May 12 promotion is a reminder that small acts, like casting a vote, fuel collective change.

So, this Monday, show your inked finger and sip proudly. Whether it’s your first time voting or your tenth, this small gesture from Starbucks is a big high-five to your civic spirit.
