February 19, 2024

February 19, 2024
The Backstreet Boys member has finally ‘quit playing games with fans’ hearts.’

Reviving the ’90s fandom spirit, Nick Carter has added four more countries to his world tour list, featuring two shows in the Philippines, in Cebu and Manila. Just this week, the pop icon officially announced the concert schedule for the Asia leg of his Who I Am World Tour.

Presented by Wilbros Live in the Philippines, Nick Carter’s concert is set for May 23 at the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom, with another performance on May 24 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. This schedule comes after the successful legs in the United States, Canada, and South America, which kicked off in October 2023.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Nick Carter’s Concert in Cebu and Manila

Marking the American singer-songwriter’s comeback to the solo stage after a seven-year hiatus, the Who I Am tour includes stops in Jakarta, India, and Singapore. As part of the Backstreet Boys, fans are eagerly anticipating a nostalgic journey with classic favorites, along with the thrill of experiencing Nick Carter’s latest single releases, including Never Break My Heart (Not Again), Made for Us, and Superman.

Tickets are slated to go on sale on February 17 at 11 am, with a preceding fan club pre-sale on February 16. For the Manila performance, tickets can be secured through Ticketnet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets, priced between P3,200 (Balcony B) and P6,000 (VIP). Meanwhile, for the Cebu show, tickets will be accessible via SMTickets.com and SM Tickets outlets, ranging from P2,100 (Balcony) to P5,800 (VIP).

Composed of Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell, the Backstreet Boys have been making waves worldwide since the ’90s with their chart-topping hits, such as I Want It That Way, Quit Playing Games with My Heart, Shape of My Heart, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), and As Long As You Love Me, earning them a special place in the hearts of music lovers around the world, particularly of the ’90s babies.

In 2002, Nick Carter formally entered the solo scene with his debut album, Now or Never, reaching #17 on the Billboard 200 chart and becoming certified Gold in the U.S., Japan, and Canada. Such success was followed by two more albums, I’m Taking Off (2011) and All American (2015).

To date, Backstreet Boys remains one of the best-selling boy bands in history and stands among the world’s top-selling music artists of all time. Through the years, they remained a beloved figure in the music industry—a status underscored by the resounding success of their sold-out DNA World Tour in 2023. This global journey included a memorable stop in Manila last year at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay

Don’t miss the opportunity to witness Nick Carter’s live performance on stage. Grab your tickets now for a nostalgic trip back to the ’90s and immerse yourself in an unforgettable experience!
