Rosé Introduces PUMA’s Ballet-Inspired Speedcat Etoile

PUMA is giving its iconic Speedcat a fashion-focused update through three new silhouettes designed for different moods and styles.

The expanded lineup includes the ballet-inspired Speedcat Etoile, the breathable Speedcat Ballet Jelly and the height-boosting Speedcat Wedge. Each design keeps the original Speedcat’s streamlined racing profile while bringing a fresh perspective to everyday footwear.

Global K-pop star Rosé leads the campaign for the Speedcat Etoile, introducing a softer and more expressive side of the motorsport-inspired sneaker.

Rosé Introduces the Ballet-Inspired Speedcat Etoile

The Speedcat Etoile blends the low-profile shape of the original Speedcat with details inspired by ballet.

Soft suede overlays, satin-like finishes and ribbon laces give the sneaker a delicate feel. The ribbons tie into bows, creating an elegant contrast with the silhouette’s racing heritage.

Through campaign imagery inspired by her childhood memories, Rosé captures the Etoile’s themes of femininity, self-expression and personal growth. The visuals place her inside a nostalgic bedroom filled with playful details, reinforcing the idea of celebrating every version of yourself.

The Speedcat Etoile comes in three versatile colourways: Misty Pink, PUMA Black and Buttercream. It retails for PHP 7,500.

While ballet-inspired fashion continues to influence modern wardrobes, the Etoile offers a wearable interpretation that can move easily between casual denim, dresses and more polished outfits.

Jelly Uppers and a Hidden Height Boost

PUMA also expands the collection with two more experimental versions of the Speedcat.

The Speedcat Ballet Jelly features a translucent, open-lattice upper designed to improve breathability during warm weather. An adjustable strap and metal buckle help secure the fit while adding a feminine, summer-ready finish.

Available in Dark Clove-Chestnut Brown and PUMA Black-Cool Dark Gray, the Ballet Jelly retails for PHP 5,000.

For those who prefer extra height, the Speedcat Wedge places a concealed wedge inside the shoe. The detail creates a subtle lift without disrupting the Speedcat’s clean and narrow profile.

Premium suede and hook-and-loop straps give the Wedge a more structured streetwear look. It arrives locally in Sand Dune-Alpine Snow and Gray Sky-PUMA Black, with a retail price of PHP 7,900.

Together, the three new designs show how far the Speedcat can move beyond its motorsport origins. The Etoile brings softness, the Ballet Jelly offers breathable experimentation and the Wedge delivers height with a streamlined finish.

The expanded PUMA Speedcat collection is available at selected PUMA stores nationwide and through PUMA’s official website.
