Get Ready, ARMY! BTS is Bringing Their ‘Monochrome’ Pop-Up Store in Manila this May

April 22, 2024

April 22, 2024
This is the ultimate shopping spree.

It’s totally normal to feel a bit nostalgic for our favorite BTS moments. Being die-hard fans, it’s definitely relatable to miss having them around. Every day brings us closer to their epic comeback, and the excitement is real. But knowing we’ve got another year to wait before we get to vibe with their awesome energy together might hit us with a wave of melancholy.

Well, no more FOMO vibes—for now, at least. From May 24 to June 30, brace yourselves for the ultimate BTS Pop-Up at Level 2, South Wing Entertainment Mall of SM Mall of Asia. Prepare to cop all the sick merch from your fave K-pop icons, from drip-worthy threads and bags to lit jewelry and candles.

BTS ‘Monochrome’ Pop-Up Store is Coming to the Philippines

As shared on X (formerly Twitter), the most awaited BTS Pop-Up Monochrome is poised to make its debut in Seoul on April 26, running through until May 12. True to its name, the teaser video showcased the upcoming merchandise from the multi-awarded South Korean boy group in stunning monochrome hues.

Simultaneously, the collection will be available in multiple cities across Asia and America, including Tokyo, Jakarta, Bangkok, LA, and Manila, with the schedule as follows.

  • Seoul – AP AGAIN (April 26–May 12)
  • Tokyo – Tokyo Plaza Ometosando ‘Omakado (May 3–May 26)
  • Jakarta – METRO Gandaria City (May 9–June 23)
  • Bangkok – Siam Paragon (May 10–June 23)
  • L.A. – TBA (May 16–May 27)
  • Manila – SM Mall of Asia (May 24–June 30)

Prior to this pop-up event, the phenomenal boy group has hosted several others, such as House of BTS, Map of the Soul, and SPACE OF BTS, spanning various locations across Asia and beyond. This year, the release comes in time for BTS’ 11th anniversary celebration on June 13.

With all members of BTS serving in the military right now, this pop-up store serves as a vibrant celebration of their influence and legacy, keeping their spirit alive in the hearts of fans worldwide. It’s a nostalgic homage to the good vibes and feels brought by each member, ensuring their presence is felt even in their absence.

Adding to the excitement, Manila will also host a special exhibition by The Fact Music Awards, titled B-Verse (BTS, Singing the Stars), at the new Gateway Manila from May 17 to August 15. B-VERSE offers BTS fans an enchanting opportunity to witness the group’s evolution both collectively and as individual stars.

Having previously launched in Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand, the exhibit is now making its way to the Philippines. Now, Filipino ARMYs can enjoy an immersive experience, starting with a VR Room showcasing BTS’ TMA stages from 2020 to 2022.

Are your purple hearts ready to beat with BTS’ rhythm? Make sure to mark your calendar for the opening of the Monochrome pop-up store and B-Verse exhibit. See you!
