2023 Asia Fan Meeting—Kim Bum: Between U and Me

Coinciding with his 34th birthday, Last July 7, Kim Bum’s agency officially announced the dates of his fan meetings in Asia—and fans, particularly of the mega-hit series Boys Over Flowers, were quick to spot not only one but two Philippine dates.

To recall, the Hallyu star made his acting debut in the 2006 K-drama series The Daring Sisters. However, his portrayal of one of the esteemed F4 members in the internationally acclaimed 2009 phenomenon, Boys Over Flowers, catapulted him to fame. Most recently, Kim Bum graced the screens in several noteworthy dramas, including the 2020 Tale of the Nine Tailed and its spin-off Tale of the Nine Tailed: 1938, as well as in one of Netflix’s best legal dramas, Law School, and the fantasy medical series Ghost Doctor.

From his participation in South Korea’s most notable dramas—Dream (2009), The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry (2010), Padam Padam (2011), Goddess of Fire (2013), and That Winter, The Wind Blows (2013)—to becoming a villain in 2016’s Mrs. Cop 2, there’s no denying Kim Bum’s versatility as an actor, which has solidified his status in the industry.
