Once dominated by dance challenges, lip-syncing, and short comedic skits, the platform has now revealed its capacity for meaningful storytelling, educational content, and a diverse array of talents and voices that reflect the evolving landscape of online expression.
This year, TikTok Philippines celebrated and honored the big stars on this small screen platform for inspiring creativity and bringing joy and knowledge to audiences across various fields of entertainment and content creation.
2023 TikTok Awards Philippines: Complete List of Winners
Hosted by fashion creator Jaz Reyes (@_jazreyes) and sports “Tito” Mikee Reyes (@_mikeereyes), the 2023 TikTok Awards Philippines was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Registered pharmacist and content creator Arshie Larga (@arshielife) was named TikTok Creator of the Year for using the platform to share valuable information, educate about healthcare and medicine, and provide free medicines for those in need. Other big-name winners include SB19, Viy Cortez, Ivana Alawi, Niana Guerrero, and Francine Diaz.
Dressed in contemporary Filipiniana and Barong attire, the event showcased live performances by today’s local music stars such as Lola Amour, KAIA, Dilaw, Paul Pablo, and PLAYERTWO. Additionally, Criselda Alvarez, Allen Ansay, and Sofia Pablo graced the stage, engaging the audience with trending TikTok dance challenges.
