Alt-Rock Icon Kitchie Nadal Announces 20th Anniversary Concert ‘SAME GROUND’ This June!

This homecoming concert is set to chronicle Kitchie Nadal journey as an artist who blazed the trail for women in alternative and pop music.

The Philippine music scene is bustling with a fresh wave of young Filipino artists, venturing into various genres and forging their distinct styles. In today’s digital age, these emerging talents have unprecedented opportunities to explore new sounds. However, it wasn’t always this way.

Past music scene was limited, with few outlets for artists to showcase their creativity. Artists had restricted avenues to reach wider audiences. However, some visionary artists broke through like Kitchie Nadal. Her hit singles entertained audiences. She also carved out a space for women in the male-dominated industry, with her soul-stirring lyrics and captivating melodies.

Kitchie Nadal Marks 20th Anniversary with Solo Concert in June

To commemorate her 20th year in the industry, the Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin hitmaker announced her upcoming solo concert, SAME GROUND, scheduled for June 2 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. This eagerly awaited event marks her return to the Philippines after relocating to Madrid, Spain. This homecoming concert is sure to be a memorable one for both Nadal and her fans.

To honor the award-winning musician’s impressive two-decade career in the Philippine music industry, the event will also showcase special guests, including her closest friends from the music scene. “We have a lot of surprises in store for everyone who has supported my work for almost two decades. I can’t wait to go back home and celebrate this landmark feat with my friends, family members, and fans.”

Presented by Big Brew and Rolling Gum in collaboration with GNN Entertainment Productions, tickets for SAME GROUND: Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert are now available at all Ticketnet outlets nationwide and through the presenters’ website.

Ticket prices range:

Balcony Seats are P1,200, Loge Section is P2,000, Orchestra L&R is P2,500, Orchestra Center is P2,900, VIP tickets, which include a signed poster, are P3,500, and SVIP tickets, which offer a Meet and Greet plus a signed poster, are P4,000.

To make her 20th anniversary even more special, Kitchie Nadal has recently reissued her debut studio album on vinyl. This special release features her self-titled record, originally released in October 2004. The vinyl comes in a unique opaque green and black split-color design, making it a limited-edition collector’s item. The album includes Filipino karaoke favorite medley, Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin, Run, Bulong!!!, and Same Ground (piano version).
