November 7, 2023
It’s official! The Filipino alternative rock band is holding a reunion concert in February 2024.

Am I real? Yes, this is real! Live Nation Philippines confirmed that the members of Rivermaya are coming together for the much-awaited Rivermaya: The Reunion, which is set to take place on February 17, 2024, at the SMDC Festival Grounds.

The local promoter announced last November 6 that Bamboo Mañalac, Rico Blanco, Mark Escueta, and Nathan Azarcon will be joining forces once again to bring their iconic music to OPM fans in an unforgettable night of music and memories. It’s going to be an all-standing show!

Here’s Everything You Need to Know about ‘Rivermaya: The Reunion’

Since its formation in 1993, Rivermaya, with its original lineup of Perf de Castro, Bamboo Mañalac, Mark Escueta, Nathan Azarcon, and Rico Blanco, has consistently maintained its status as one of the most influential and best-selling Filipino rock bands in the country. Despite several lineup changes, the band’s lasting influence has earned them the title “Banda ng Bayan,” establishing them as a prominent presence in the Filipino music scene.

Three decades since the OG line-up shared the stage, Live Nation invites Pinoy fans to ‘be part of history with the country’s most coveted reunion.’ Known for their hits 214, You’ll Be Safe Here, Hinahanap-hanap Kita, Umaaraw Umuulan, Himala, Liwanag sa Dilim,Elesi, Kisapmata, and Awit ng Kabataan, this reunion concert is sure to relive the anthems that have soundtracked the lives of many Filipinos.

Tickets for the Rivermaya: The Reunion concert will be made available starting November 17 at 3 p.m. via SM Tickets website and outlets nationwide. Price ranges from P2,550 for the Bronze section to P14,750 for the VIP section.

For the 90s kids and dedicated fans of Rivermaya, this concert isn’t just another show; it’s a journey back in time, a chance for them to reconnect with the songs that filled their youth with emotions and unforgettable memories. It’s their opportunity to sing along to those timeless hits that have become a part of their lives and to relive the excitement of their musical heroes taking the stage once again.

Rivermaya’s reunion concert in February 2024 is a unique chance for them to bask in the nostalgia of the past while creating new memories with fellow fans who share the same love for the music that has defined their generation. It’s a celebration of the enduring impact of Rivermaya’s music, a reminder that great songs never fade, and an experience that they will cherish for years to come.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of this unforgettable moment in Filipino music history! Make sure to secure your tickets!
