Unable to snag a ticket for The Eras Tour? No worries. The next big thing is performing live to fill the void.

You’ve likely come across it at the shopping center or while browsing your social media feed: countless fans congregating, passionately belting out Taylor Swift’s chart-toppers. However, in the spotlight, it wasn’t a Grammy-winning vocalist; instead, it was a Filipino drag queen donning a long blonde wig and outfits reminiscent of Speak Now, Red, and Midnights.

Welcome to the Taylor Sheesh Eras Tour. Yes, Filipino Swifties have taken matters into their own hands by recreating their own concert experience, including a live performance by a Filipino drag queen who pays homage to Taylor Swift’s iconic looks and styles from different eras of her career.

Meet Taylor Sheesh and Be a Part of ‘The Eras Tour’ in the Philippines!

Even with the addition of extra tour dates in Singapore, numerous Filipinos were still left disheartened due to their inability to secure tickets for the Asian leg of their global tour. In an attempt to alleviate this disappointment, Filipino Swifties gathered at a mall to witness the next big thing: Taylor Sheesh.

Pinoy drag queen Taylor Sheesh, who goes by the name Mac Coronel, channeled her version of the iconic pop star and gave the audience their rendition of The Eras Tour. And what initially began as a one-and-a-half-hour performance at TriNoma Mall in Quezon City on May 21 has since evolved into a nationwide sensation, garnering international attention in the process.

So far, the aforementioned concert has grabbed the spotlight, earning mentions in Rolling Stone, Pop Crave, Gay Times, and the South China Morning Post. In a more recent development, the Taylor Swift impersonator made an appearance on Good Morning America following her viral performances at various malls across the nation. Even the Filipino-American social media sensation Bretman Rock couldn’t contain his excitement as he marveled at Taylor Sheesh’s performance during his cousin Kieffer’s birthday celebration in a hotel room.

Indeed, Taylor Sheesh has taken the Philippines by storm with her version of The Eras Tour. This month, she is scheduled to perform 18 shows around the country, with some dates and locations yet to be revealed. Here’s a quick look at her tour dates:

Taylor Sheesh hopes to meet Taylor Swift in person, showcase her talent on the global stage, and, of course, meet her favorite drag queens as well.
