IKEA TriNoma Plan and Order Shop Opens for Shoppers North of Metro Manila

October 28, 2025

October 28, 2025

At the TriNoma launch were (L-R) Daniel Rivero, IKEA Philippines Store Manager; Gelo Gacad, IKEA Plan and Order Shop Manager; Her Excellency Anna Ferry, Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines; Ricardo Pinheiro, IKEA Country Retail Manager; Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Land Inc. Senior Vice President and Head of Leasing and Hospitality; Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte; Paul Birkett, Ayala Malls Chief Operating Officer; and Nathan Clark, Ayala Malls Head of Leasing.

IKEA has opened its first Plan and Order Shop at TriNoma in Quezon City, bringing its hallmark of affordable, sustainable, and Scandinavian-inspired home solutions closer to residents in the north of Metro Manila. Shoppers can consult with specialists, shop a curated selection in store, and access planning support for key spaces at home.

The 500-square-meter space serves as a compact gateway to the full IKEA experience available in Pasay City. Its core service focuses on planning kitchens as well as wardrobes for bedrooms and living areas. Design vignettes highlight how furniture, lighting, and décor can work together. Customers can browse the complete range of more than 8,500 products and schedule delivery to the shop.

“IKEA first said hello to the Philippines almost four years ago with our Pasay store. Today, we are in Quezon City with our first Plan and Order Shop at TriNoma, in collaboration with Ayala Malls,” shares IKEA Philippines Country Retail Manager Ricardo Pinheiro.

Pinheiro notes that while the shop carries select cooking and dining accessories, shoppers can order any item online for free collection at TriNoma. The site doubles as a pick up and planning hub where customers can sit down with design specialists in the consultation zone. Same day take home is possible for items displayed in the curated assortment.

“Our aim is to make great design accessible to many Filipinos who dream of homes that spark joy and bring families closer together, especially during the Christmas season,” adds Pinheiro.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting marked the opening, led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines Anna Ferry, Ayala Land Senior Vice President and Head of Leasing and Hospitality Mariana Zobel Ayala, and IKEA Philippines Country Retail Manager Ricardo Pinheiro.

TriNoma serves major residential communities in Quezon City, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela. It also connects to Bulacan, Pampanga, and the rest of Central Luzon with convenient access via NLEX and Skyway 3.

The IKEA Plan and Order Shop operates cashless, accepting only digital and card payments. It is on Level 1, TriNoma Mall, North Avenue corner EDSA, Quezon City. Shoppers may also place orders through the IKEA Philippines website for collection at the shop.
