VinFast Reveals Winners of its Electric Vehicle Design Voting Contest in the Philippines

November 26, 2025

November 26, 2025

VinFast has officially recognized 303 winners, granting prizes worth a combined 5.1 million pesos to standout and lucky participants of its electric vehicle design voting contest for the Philippine market, titled PiliPinas: Your Vote, Your Design for the Future Filipino Drive. With more than 20,000 people taking part, the contest underlines the strong interest in VinFast models and shows that green mobility is increasingly viewed as a practical and necessary choice in the Philippines.

During a live broadcast awards program, VinFast awarded three grand prizes of 150,000 pesos each to participants who most accurately predicted both the most preferred design and the overall number of votes. In addition, 20 prizes ranging from 40,000 to 80,000 pesos were given to those whose predictions for the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 results were closest. The initiative also granted 130 gifts of 15,000 pesos each to individuals who submitted their own design ideas, plus 150 lucky draw gifts of 10,000 pesos each to participants who joined the voting. Altogether, 303 prizes were distributed, totaling 5.1 million pesos in rewards.

Running for two weeks from October 24 to November 7, the PiliPinas electric vehicle design voting contest drew more than 20,000 votes, thousands of direct participants and over one hundred original design entries from both major cities and smaller islands throughout the Philippines.

For each of the VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 model lines, VinFast presented ten interior and exterior design options. These concepts were freshly created by VinFast’s global design team to showcase a broad variety of looks and styles tailored to different tastes.

Filipinos nationwide actively selected the designs they favored most, allowing them to share their preferences with VinFast while expressing their own sense of style. The contest captured how Filipinos picture the electric vehicles they hope to drive and how these choices can help influence the future of transportation in the country.

Ensuring fairness and transparency was central to the contest. All fifty official design options, complete with detailed interior and exterior visuals, were made available so participants could cast their votes independently and objectively. Voting was open both online and through thirty physical ballot boxes positioned across the country to make participation widely accessible.

The strong turnout and close results among the shortlisted designs demonstrate the appeal of VinFast’s new design portfolio and the brand’s deep understanding of Philippine consumer preferences. At the same time, the contest reflects the creativity and community pride of Filipinos, who were given the chance to directly shape potential future VinFast models for everyday use.

Mr. Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, shared: “With our customer-centric philosophy, VinFast wants Filipinos to become true co-creators of the electric vehicles that will soon be seen on Philippine streets. Each and every selection and idea submitted inspires us to develop vehicles that reflect the Filipino spirit: resilient, steadfast and always striving for a better future.”

In just over a year since entering the Philippine market, VinFast has rapidly built momentum. The company continues to grow its showroom network and test drive activities, reinforce collaborations with financial and service partners and roll out a varied electric vehicle lineup designed for both city drivers and families.

With a global vision and a strong commitment to sustainable development, VinFast is further cementing its role as a trusted partner of the Philippines on the path to greener, smarter and more environmentally friendly mobility, where progress is driven by the voices and imagination of the community.
