Engkanto Brewery just leveled up the craft beer game in the Philippines with its first-ever taproom, Engkanto Taps, now open in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. If you’re a craft beer enthusiast—or just someone who loves good vibes, great drinks, and epic food—this spot deserves a top spot on your list.
Fresh Pours, Bold Flavors
Engkanto Taps is all about bringing craft beer to life, with 12 beers on tap featuring fan-favorites like the world-renowned High Hive Honey Ale (yep, it’s officially the best honey beer in the world) and the iconic Paint Me Purple Ube Lager. Not sure where to start? The beer flight lets you sample four styles in smaller pours—perfect for newbies exploring the craft beer scene.
“We wanted a space where people can really experience craft beer at its finest,” shared Ian Paradies, Founder of Engkanto Brewery.
And it’s not just about the beer. Chef Luis de Terry is serving up next-level eats that pair perfectly with each pint. From Croqueta Gonzalez to Yiken’ Inasal sa Gata, these dishes don’t just complement the beers—they elevate them. Some even feature beer as a star ingredient, like the Engkanto Ale Mustard for their loaded sausage platter.
Beer Meets Cocktails
Engkanto is also giving cocktails a fresh twist by infusing them with their signature brews. Think Nutty & Nice-presso, an espresso martini with a creamy stout kick, or the zesty Sampa-Loca Highball, featuring Green Lava Double IPA.
Brewmaster Michael Jordan summed it up: “There’s no place like this in the area. Now, we get to hang out with awesome people, enjoy great beer, and unwind in a space made for craft lovers.”
What’s Next for Engkanto?
This Sta. Rosa taproom is just the beginning. Engkanto’s Managing Director Ricard Basora teased that Metro Manila is next. Craft beer fans, stay tuned!
Engkanto Taps is open from 5 PM to 2 AM at Erhlind Square, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, across Paseo de Sta. Rosa Outlets. For updates, follow @engkanto_taps on Instagram.
