KATSEYE Partners with Jollibee for Limited-Edition Korean BBQ Menu

September 19, 2025

September 19, 2025

Global K-pop girl group KATSEYE has announced an exclusive partnership with Jollibee US, launching a limited-edition Korean BBQ-inspired menu that combines the Filipino fast-food chain’s signature fried chicken with Korean flavors. This KATSEYE Jollibee collaboration marks a significant moment in cross-cultural brand partnerships.

New Menu Items Feature Korean BBQ Fusion

The partnership introduces two specialty items that blend traditional Korean barbecue elements with Jollibee’s popular chicken offerings. Both dishes in the KATSEYE menu feature a distinctive sauce made from soy glaze and gochujang, creating a balance of sweet, savory, and mildly spicy flavors.

The KATSEYE Special Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich consists of crispy fried chicken coated in the signature Korean BBQ sauce, served on a toasted brioche bun and topped with cucumber slices, red onion, and fresh cilantro.

The KATSEYE Special Korean BBQ Fried Chicken offers the same Korean BBQ-glazed chicken as a standalone item, maintaining Jollibee’s hand-coated preparation method while incorporating the new flavor profile.

Eyekons Exclusives

The special menu launched this week and is available exclusively through Jollibee’s website and mobile app in the United States and Canada. KATSEYE and Jollibee have extended the partnership beyond food items to include exclusive merchandise and promotional giveaways for customers.

As a limited-time offering, the menu will be available while supplies last, with no confirmed timeline for potential expansion to other markets, including the Philippines where Jollibee originated.

Why This Collab Makes Sense

The partnership holds particular relevance given KATSEYE’s connection to Filipino culture through member Sophia Laforteza, who hails from Manila. The six-member group, formed through the competition program “The Debut: Dream Academy” with HYBE and Geffen Records, debuted in 2023 and has since built strong ties with Jollibee’s home market.

KATSEYE visited the Philippines in 2024 for a fan showcase. They also appeared on the variety show It’s Showtime and worked with local content creators. The group’s lineup is diverse, with members from the United States, India, Switzerland, and South Korea. This reflects the globalized nature of contemporary K-pop.

The group recently released their Latin-influenced track Gabriela. The music video stars Hollywood actress Jessica Alba. This release highlights their ongoing exploration of cross-cultural collaborations.

Behind KATSEYE Jollibee Collaboration

This partnership reflects Jollibee’s ongoing strategy to connect with pop culture and reach audiences beyond traditional Filipino cuisine. The fast-food chain runs more than 10,000 stores in 32 countries. It has also teamed up with entertainment properties for limited-edition menus, making KATSEYE its latest high-profile collaboration.

For KATSEYE, the Jollibee collaboration is their first major brand deal since debut. It may signal the group’s rising commercial influence in the North American market.

The Korean BBQ fusion concept also reflects the continuing popularity of Korean flavors in Western fast-food markets, following successful implementations by other major chains in recent years.

Looking Forward

The current menu is available only in North America. Still, fans in the Philippines and other regions want the KATSEYE–Jollibee partnership to go global. Its success could shape future cross-cultural menu collaborations for both brands.

KATSEYE continues to build their discography with previous releases including “Gnarly,” “Touch,” and “Debut,” while exploring partnerships that bridge their multicultural identity with mainstream commercial opportunities.
