Maki’s First Solo Concert is Coming to the Big Dome, and It’s a Full-Color Moment

August 18, 2025

August 18, 2025

Maki is finally taking center stage, and we’re ready for the ride. The Gen Z singer-songwriter is set to headline his first-ever solo concert, KOLORCOASTER, and it’s happening at a venue fit for a star: the Araneta Coliseum.

The “Dilaw” hitmaker announced the show with a simple but iconic post, saying, “It STARts here.” And we couldn’t agree more. This concert isn’t just a show; it’s a full-circle moment for an artist who has been steadily climbing to the top of the music scene. From performing as a guest at concerts for big names like BINI and the American band LANY, Maki is now set to fill the Big Dome with his own vibrant music.

The ‘KOLORCOASTER’ Era is Here

The concert, scheduled for November 7, 2025, is in support of his highly anticipated debut album, which shares the same name, “KOLORCOASTER.” Set to be released on September 19, the album is a creative journey in itself. It will feature 10 color-themed tracks, including fan favorites like “Dilaw,” “Namumula,” “Kahel Na Langit,” and “Bughaw.”

But that’s not all! His label, Tarsier Records, has already dropped teasers for new songs on the album, including “Turning Green,” “INDIGO (with u),” and “Nangungulila.” With three more tracks yet to be revealed, the anticipation for this album is at an all-time high.

A Star in the Making

Maki’s journey is a testament to his talent and hard work. Just last year, he held a sold-out two-day concert at the New Frontier Theater, a major milestone in itself. Now, he’s leveling up to the legendary Araneta Coliseum, a move that his fans—known as Zushis—are celebrating with full force.

One fan’s viral post perfectly captured the mood, pointing out his journey from opening act to main event. “Maki, you deserve the world, and the world deserves to see your talent,” they said. And Maki’s response? A simple but powerful “It’s my turn.”

This concert is more than just a musical event; it’s a celebration of a young artist’s rise to stardom. While details on ticket prices are still under wraps, make sure to follow his official social media accounts for updates. Get ready to ride the “KOLORCOASTER” with Maki—it’s going to be a vibrant and unforgettable night.
