What We Know So Far About Kim Seon Ho
Seon Ho first visited the Philippines for a fan meeting last January 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, during the One, Two, Three, Smile tour. Adding to Bench’s impressive roster of international endorsers, the actor joined esteemed names like Park Seo-jJoon, Ji Chang-wook, Hyun Bin, Kim So-hyun, and popular K-pop groups ITZY, Stray Kids, and TWICE when he signed with the brand in August of the previous year.
While Kim Seon Ho is best remembered for his role as the big-time venture capitalist Han Ji-Pyeong, better known as “Good Boy” among his fans, in the Start-Up series in 2020, his career in acting began in 2009 with the stage drama titled New Boeing Boeing. Most recently, he made headlines with his portrayal of the handsome handyman Hong Du-sik in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha with Shin Min-a.
On June 21, Kim Seon Ho is going to the big screen with the film The Childe, directed by Park Hoon-jung. He is joined by Kim Kang-woo and Go-Ara in his film debut. The director of the celebrated movies The Witch Part 1: Subversion and The Witch Part 2: The Other One is said to be a master of discovering new talent, as he did with actors Kim Da-mi and Shin Si-ah. He particularly wanted Seon-ho for the role and wanted no other actor to do so.
In this upcoming action noir movie, Seon Ho takes on the role of a professional killer—who appears in the trailer in a three-piece suit holding a pistol with a silencer attached—who is hunting down an aspiring Filipino-Korean boxer named Marco (portrayed by Kang Tae-joo).
