Start your day with their gourmet coffee and freshly baked croissants.
Let’s admit it: convenience stores often find themselves in the hot seat when it comes to the coffee they offer. But, really, what should our expectations be? With the limited brewing equipment, low-grade beans, and tendencies to brew in large quantities, it’s no wonder coffee aficionados find themselves raising an eyebrow at the coffee served.
Yet, as tastes evolve and coffee lovers demand more from their cup of Joe, some convenience stores are stepping up their game. They’re addressing the shortcomings, investing in better-quality beans, and improving brewing techniques to shake off the stereotypes and deliver a more satisfying coffee experience. Like, the biggest convenience store chain in the world, 7-Eleven.
Check Out 7-Eleven’s New Concept Store that Offers Gourmet Coffee and Croissants
If you’re not in the loop, here’s the scoop: 7-Eleven recently opened Café Reserve, a gourmet coffee concept store. Nestled within the Parc Chateau Condominium branch, this chic spot introduces Ethiopian coffee and freshly baked croissants to its menu. To add to the delight, they also whip up both hot and iced matcha beverages for non-coffee drinkers—a delightful fusion of gourmet coffee and delectable pastries.
For those who have a penchant for pastries straight from the oven, Café Reserve has got you covered. You can enjoy the enticing aroma of freshly baked croissants and pan de sal wafting through the morning air during the shop’s baking sessions from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Such a perfect treat to start and go on with the day!
As of this writing, Café Reserve stands as the sole 7-Eleven concept store in Metro Manila. Yet, given the traction it’s gaining, it wouldn’t be unexpected to see more of these concept stores springing up nationwide.
