The coffee shop draws you in as much as it soothes the senses. Its predominant use of wooden surfaces, which are the subject of countless Instagram feeds, gives you that ‘Dojo’ vibe that reminds you of Japanese interiors.
Aside from their minimalistic branding, what sets Coffee Dojo apart from the other coffee shops in Metro Manila is their ability to incorporate the culture of Japan in that very first sip.
Marco Chu, the owner, passionately shared how his menu draws inspiration from the unique coffee cultures of Tokyo and Kyoto. They opened their first branch during the pandemic on July 18, 2021, and have since been expanding.
The finest blended beans are meticulously extracted to create latte drinks that are simple yet bursting with complex flavors. Each cup is a testament to Coffee Dojo’s passion, offering an elevated coffee experience in a space designed for pure relaxation.
Signature Drinks and Meals
Sourced from Uji, Kyoto itself, their signature drink is the Matcha Latte.
Rich in green goodness, this drink is highly recommended as a substitute for coffee for its numerous benefits: high in antioxidants, boosts metabolism, improves cognitive function, reduces inflammation, and protects the skin.
Another item they will launch soon is the Fuji Creme Latte, topped with Fuji Creme Foam inspired by the Mount Fuji snowcap.
