We solemnly swear that this is not a drill. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Concert is definitely coming to Manila this August 19 and 20 to bring back the wonderful memories of magic and adventure you had with wizards, witches, and Muggles alike.
As per the post of Circles Entertainment on their official Facebook page: “We are excited to announce that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert will be coming to The Theater at Solaire on August 19 and 20! Tickets will be on sale on June 24 at Ticketworld outlets and online.”
The said concert is part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, produced by CineConcert. To recall, they first came to the Philippines in 2019 for a two-night performance featuring Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert.
Everything You Need to Know About ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert
For those who are not familiar, in this concert, the movie Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be showcased on a giant 40-foot HD screen, accompanied by a live symphony orchestra performing the film’s musical score, which was created by the award-winning composer John Williams.
This one-of-a-kind magical concert is helmed by John Jesensky, who will be standing on the conductor’s podium in front of the Manila Philippine Orchestra. Previously, in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert, maestro Gerard Salonga led the powerful performance of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra of John William’s iconic score.
Based on J.R. Rowling’s novel of the same name, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, is the second installment of the Harry Potter film franchise, released in 2002. This follows the adventures of young wizards Harry, Ron, and Hermione in their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is estimated to run for about three hours with a 20-minute intermission. Come in your Potter-themed costumes, and don’t miss this opportunity to experience those magical moments.
