The LoveYourself Pride Night event marked the start of Pride Month, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community’s history, achievements, and ongoing advocacy for a better future.
It’s the most vibrant month once again. LoveYourself Inc. launched a month-long gender rights celebration on June 1. The event, promoting equality, started with a vibrant night of entertainment. It took place at the Bridgetowne Open Grounds in Pasig City.
The event’s theme was “Reflecting on the Past, Celebrating the Present, Shaping the Future.” It honored past struggles and recognized progress in the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality. The event celebrated ongoing efforts for a better future within the community.

Pride Month, celebrated in June, provides safe spaces for self-expression. The annual event highlights ongoing struggles and promotes a more inclusive future. It fosters unity and acceptance for everyone.
The event was hosted by Miss Deliciousness, Poca, and Lars Pacheco. There were electrifying performances by various artists. Brigiding, Precious Paula Nicole, Alab Pol Dancers, and Vinas DeLuxe performed. Bernie Barrantes, House of Ding, Mix Chanel, and JQUinn also took the stage. Maxie, Arizona Beauty, Hanna Bestie, OV Cunt, and Matilduh performed. Lukas Garcia and Raven Heyres also delivered stunning performances.
LoveYourself Pride Night celebrated love, diversity, and pride. There were sensational performances by Lady Gagita, Hana Beshie, and other local drag queens. Ms. Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, a dedicated advocate and Ms. Universe ally, also participated. She has consistently shown unwavering support for the community.
The reigning Miss Universe Philippines 2024, Chelsea Manalo, also graced the event, dazzling the crowd with her signature catwalk that helped her clinch the prestigious title. As an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, she emphasized the significance of authenticity and encouraged everyone to stay true to themselves.

“That was the most colorful event I’ve ever been, to my first and many more Pride events with you all! Allies are important and welcome supports of the LGBT community. They can be effective and powerful voices and can not only help our LGBT people feel comfortable but also help others understand the importance of equality and fairness for all people.”
Further highlighting the pivotal moments of the LGBTQIA+ community, the event featured Rainbow History—a powerful exhibit showcasing the community’s resilience and triumphs that have paved the way for today’s progress. A Pride Magazine Photo Booth was also set up to capture the moment and share inspiring stories.

Pride Night is not just a celebration; it’s a call to action and reflection. It stands as a testament to an enduring spirit and vibrant culture, reminding us that the battle for equality continues. Malayo pa, pero malayo na.
