In a dazzling display of poise and purpose, 24-year-old Chelsea Manalo has etched her name in the history books as the first-ever black Filipino-American to be crowned Miss Universe Philippines. 

Equipped with a degree in tourism from Bulacan, Chelsea Manalo is more than ready to represent her country on the global stage. With unmatched grace and confidence, she will take the global stage of the Miss Universe pageant.

Chelsea Manalo’s journey to the crown has been nothing short of inspiring. At the tender age of 14, Chelsea began her modeling career. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a top 15 finalist in the prestigious Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant.

Throughout her journey, this multifaceted beauty has always possessed an undeniable star power that has captured the hearts of many. Transitioning from modeling to pageantry, Chelsea’s determination and hard work paid off as she continued to make a name for herself in the industry.

Chelsea Manalo’s victory in Miss Universe Philippines 2024 was a watershed moment. It shattered long-held beauty standards. The victory paved the way for a more inclusive and diverse representation of Filipina excellence.

“As a woman of color, I’ve always faced challenges in my life, I was told that beauty has a standard. But for me, I have listened to always believe in my mother, to always believe in yourself, uphold the vows that you have in yourself.”
