If you’re one of the lucky Pinoy Swifties who have survived “The Great War,” here are some of the things you can do in Singapore in addition to catching Taylor Swift perform live.

‘It’s been a long time coming’—and literally cutthroat to secure that ticket to The Eras Tour—that’s why you really have to make the most of your trip to Singapore. Are your friendship bracelets ready? Is your OOTD planned out? Have you memorized the fan chants?

In just a bit, Taylor Swift will be in the Lion City—and if you’re like most Filipinos, you’re likely scrambling with last-minute preps right now. If you’re staying in Singapore for a couple of days and are still unsure about what to do beyond the concert, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered.

Things You Can Do in Singapore If You’re Attending ‘The Eras Tour’

Yes, it’s finally happening. This March 2 to 4 and March 7 to 9, the record-breaking American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift will be performing in Singapore for the Southeast Asia leg of The Eras Tour. That’s six nights of amazing performances covering her career’s work, album by album.

Now, while the concert is the main reason why Filipino Swifties are flying to Singapore, this doesn’t have to be the only thing you—and your fellow Swifties—can experience. Since you’re already in the country, why not make the most of it? Here’s a quick list of things that you can do in Singapore to get the most out of your trip.

  1. Tour Around Changi Airport

In case this is your first time visiting Singapore, yes, the adventure around the country immediately begins the moment you step foot in its airport. Changi Airport, renowned for its world-class facilities and services, is more than just a transportation hub—it’s an experience in itself. From stunning gardens to captivating art installations, cinemas, and even a rooftop pool, Changi Airport will redefine your travel experience.

Adding to the excitement, Jewel Changi Airport is hosting a free Taylor Swift sing-along fan event on March 1.  Aside from the program led by local singer and avid Taylor Swift fan Joie Tan, along with the local band 53A and performing arts studio MADDspace, attendees not only get to enjoy the sing-along but also receive a limited-edition friendship bracelet courtesy of Changi Airport Group, including an extra pack of beads for personalized creations. Since it’s a free event, passes are distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, exclusively to those who registered on the airport’s website. The event takes place at Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley.

  1. Check Out Marina Bay Sands

A trip to Singapore is never complete without visiting the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Not only does this landmark offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the city skyline, but it also houses the renowned Skypark, which boasts an infinity pool—a unique and luxurious backdrop worthy of your IG feed.

The nearby Gardens by the Bay, with its futuristic Supertree Grove and Cloud Forest, also add to the enchanting atmosphere of the area. With its vibrant entertainment and dining options, Marina Bay Sands is a perfect pre- or post-concert destination for Filipino Swifties like you.

  1. Learn About Singapore’s History at Fort Canning Park

It’s more than just the viral spiral staircase. Fort Canning Park is actually a fantastic spot that Filipino Swifties, like you, shouldn’t miss upon visiting Singapore. This historic park offers a serene escape from the bustling city and is rich in cultural significance. Home to several historical landmarks, including the strategic military base of Fort Canning Hill during World War II, it provides a peaceful environment with lush greenery and fascinating artifacts. After the Taylor Swift concert excitement, a stroll through this park lets you soak in not just the natural beauty but also the historical tales embedded in its surroundings. Fort Canning Park offers a tranquil retreat that adds depth to your Singapore experience!

  1. Take Souvenir Photos with the Merlion

After months of repairs, Singapore’s Merlion is finally back, and for Filipino Swifties, it’s a must-visit spot! This iconic half-lion, half-fish statue is not just a symbol of the city but also a picturesque location perfect for memorable photos during your Taylor Swift adventure in Singapore.

  1. Indulge in Local Flavors

No matter how short your visit to Singapore is, treat yourself to a culinary adventure. You don’t have to splurge on fancy fine dining; the city offers an array of budget-friendly Chinese, Malaysian, and Indian delights. Dive into one of the best hawker centers and indulge in local favorites like Hainanese Chicken Rice, Chilli Crab, Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Roti Prata, Satay, Kaya Toast, and Char Kway Teow. It’s a flavorful journey that won’t break the bank!

Just like Taylor Swift’s vast discography that spans eras, Singapore has a lot in store for you. Dive into the excitement, explore the city, connect with fellow Swifties, belt out your favorite tunes, and soak in the local vibes—because you’re not on your own kid.
