In this joint project of ABS-CBN Entertainment and streaming platform Viu, the Kapamilya stars are taking on the lead roles of Secretary Kim and Mr. Vice-Chairman, which were originally played by Park Min-young and Park Seo-joon.

Based on the webtoon series aired in 2018, CJ ENM’s What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim topped Korean ratings and gained widespread popularity around the world, including here in the Philippines. What We Know So Far About the PH Adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’

Slated to be released in 2024, the Philippine adaptation of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim will follow the story of the handsome, narcissistic vice-chairman of a major corporation whose seemingly perfect world was shaken when his highly competent secretary of almost a decade announces her resignation. To keep things as is, he tries everything to keep her by his side—without knowing that in the process, they begin to develop romantic feelings for each other.

ABS-CBN’s COO of Broadcast, Cory Vidanes, extended her heartfelt thanks to Viu for once again placing their trust in the network. “We are thrilled to bring the Philippine adaptation of a popular K-drama series to our viewers, as we also showcase Filipino talent across the world.”

The Chief of Content Acquisition and Development of Viu, Marianne Lee, also shared: “Offering content that resonates with our market is key to what we do here at Viu. We are excited to work, once again, with our trusted partner, ABS-CBN Entertainment, with Dreamscape at the helm of production in delivering this title to our Viu-ers in the Philippines and across the region.
