South Korean singer Nancy McDonie will make an appearance on Running Man PH! Additionally, she is interested in guesting on GMA teleseryes.

And nope, it’s not an April Fool’s prank! Sparkle GMA Artist Center has officially welcomed Nancy McDonie, the Korean-American singer-actress, to its diverse and stellar roster of talents.

On April 1, the artist center announced that Nancy McDonie has signed with GMA Network. She will arrive in the Philippines in May. She will also appear on “Running Man Philippines” on May 11.

South Korean Superstar Nancy McDonie is Now a Kapuso!

In 2018, Momoland became popular in the Philippines with their viral dance hits “Bboom Bboom” and “Baam.” They won many awards in South Korea and internationally.

Recognizing their immense popularity in the Philippines, the girl group and their former management company struck a management agreement with ABS-CBN. The group made regular appearances on popular shows like Gandang Gabi Vice and Tonight with Boy Abunda, as well as on Myx. Additionally, they also took part in an ABS-CBN Christmas Special Concert.

Aside from her singing and dancing talents, Nancy captured the attention of many Filipino fans, especially due to her resemblance to Filipina actress Liza Soberano. Coincidentally, Nancy was set to star in a series titled The Soulmate Project with James Reid, Liza’s manager. However, the project didn’t push through due to the pandemic.

In 2023, Nancy McDonie, along with the rest of the members, departed from MLD Entertainment as their contracts expired. Weeks after that, the all-girl group announced their disbandment after a seven-year journey together.

After leaving Aria Group in September 2023, Nancy McDonie signed with ATOC. Now, Sparkle GMA Artist Center has unveiled Nancy McDonie as their newest talent. Her first appearance as a Kapuso will be on “Running Man PH” on May 11 and 12.

Boy Abunda hinted that Nancy McDonie is one of several Korean guests that viewers can expect to appear. “Isa sa mga unang appearance niya bilang Kapuso ay sa second season ng ‘Running Man Philippines’ na magsisimula ngayong May 11 at 12.“. This implies that there may be more Korean guests to come. Possibly someone intentionally kept under wraps.

Are you excited to see Nancy on local TV? What TV shows do you think she will appear on? Teleserye, perhaps? Among the Kapuso stars, who do you think would make a good love team with her? Your guess is as good as ours.

Let’s wait and see how things unfold. This is going to be exciting. Stay posted for more!
