If you’re active on TikTok, you may have noticed the latest viral tiktok trend: the red hair filter inspired by BINI Mikha Lim.

Ever since BINI’s skyrocket to fame with their massive hits ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ their fans (officially called ‘Blooms’) have been hopping on the viral red hair tiktok trend filter inspired by one of the nation’s girl group visuals, BINI Mikha Lim (@bini_mikha), who is notably known for her fiery, red hair.

Mikha Lim is a member of the popular Filipino girl group, BINI. She’s known for her fiery red hair, which has become one of her signature looks. The red hair trend on TikTok was inspired by Mikha and her iconic hairstyle.

Hundreds of videos have been uploaded using this tiktok red hair filter effect so far; with BINI Mikha, herself, reposting some videos of users doing the transition.

Many users claim it’s a new realistic ‘red hair’ filter that compliments everyone, regardless of their facial features or skin tone. It gives users red locks, flattering long lashes, gray eyes, and the perfect lip shade.

So, if you’re eager to see how you’d look with red hair, here’s how to do it.

How to use TikTok’s viral red hair ‘Mikha Lim’ filter

The viral red hair filter is available right from the TikTok app, so accessing and using it is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open TikTok.
  2. Press the plus button at the bottom to open the camera.
  3. Click on ‘Effects’ in the bottom left.
  4. Search for ‘red hair by whxyu.zip’

  6. Hold your phone so your face is on camera, and the effect should apply automatically.
