Maymay Entrata made waves at Paris Fashion Week, strutting down the runway for Vietnamese designer Phan Huy and Filipino designer Leo Almodal.

There’s literally no stopping Maymay Entrata! The young Kapamilya star is making waves, not just with her music but now on the global fashion stage.

After dropping the English version of her hit song Amakabogera—an empowering anthem about self-love and confidence—Maymay took her talents to Paris Fashion Week, performing the same song live and reminding everyone that beauty is yours to define.

Making her mark at Paris Fashion Week, Maymay strutted down the runway for renowned Vietnamese designer Phan Huy. Phan Huy is known for celebrating Vietnam’s rich culture and diversity through fashion. His Spring/Summer 2025 collection featured stunning handmade embroideries and delicate fabrics.

His works have been featured at the Cannes Film Festival and on international red carpets. This year, Maymay brought his vision to life with two standout looks.

Maymay’s debut look for Phan Huy was nothing short of ethereal. She wore a white, strapless ensemble with a structured bodice. The bodice cascaded into an asymmetrical silhouette, flowing effortlessly over her frame. The mini skirt featured shimmering sequins and delicate floral appliqués. This added a touch of sparkle and elegance to her look.

Her second look was bold and edgy—a high-fashion take on the classic geometric pattern. The short-sleeved mini dress was covered in a striking black-and-white harlequin checkered print, creating a dramatic and eye-catching vibe. The form-fitting silhouette and sleek black stilettos balanced daring fashion with polished sophistication.

Walking for Leo Almodal

But Maymay didn’t stop there. She also walked for Filipino designer Leo Almodal, known for his intricately crafted bridal gowns and haute couture pieces. In this show, Maymay embodied celestial royalty, wearing a breathtaking gown with a full, voluminous skirt and shimmering gold embellishments.

Her radiant golden sunburst headpiece completed the look, making her a vision of divine elegance and high drama on the runway.

A Showstopping Performance

In addition to modeling, Maymay delivered a live performance of her hit song Amakabogera. She wore a stunning gold embroidered bodysuit for the performance. The bodysuit featured an asymmetrical design and a floor-length satin train. This created a regal vibe. The golden yellow cape added grandeur and movement to her powerful performance.

Excited about her Paris Fashion Week debut, Maymay shared on social media, “My first runway in Paris Fashion Week, I will for sure treasure this. Thank you so much for having me.”

To note, this isn’t Maymay’s first step into the world of fashion. Back in 2018, she graced the Arab Fashion Week. Earlier this year, Filipina actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista opened the Vietnamese designer’s Autumn/Winter 2024 event.

Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach also walked in L’Oreal’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week. She shared the runway with international stars like Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, and Alia Bhatt.

Indeed, Filipina beauty and talent are making their mark on the global scene, and Maymay Entrata is the latest to join the lineup of fierce women taking the fashion world by storm.

Breaking barriers, Maymay is redefining what it means to be a Filipina in both fashion and music. Her journey proves that confidence and self-love can open endless doors. She is showing that the world is ready to see more Filipina talent. Her debut at Paris Fashion Week is just the beginning.
