‘Ang Huling El Bimbo: The Musical’ June Schedule
Written by Dingdong Novenario and directed by Dexter Santos, Ang Huling El Bimbo tells through the songs of Eraserheads the story of three friends: Hector, Emman, and Anthony, who find themselves in an unlikely reunion two decades after their college graduation. The story unfolds a slew of flashbacks from their teenage days, along with the challenges faced and the tough decisions they have to make.
Back on stage, the rerun of Ang Huling El Bimbo also sees the return of cast members, including Gab Pangilinan (young Joy), Gian Magdangal (Hector), Topper Fabregas (young Anthony), Sheila Francisco (Tia Dely), and Jamie Wilson (Arturo Banlaoi). There’s also Nino Alejandro (Anthony), Bullet Dumas (Emman), Paw Castillo (young Emman), and Katrine Sunga (Joy). Myke Salomon, who recently tied the knot with main cast Gab Pangilinan, also returns as the musical director of the show.
