The annual celebration of OPM’s finest showcased BINI shining bright at the Awit Awards 2024—check out all the winners from the music industry’s big night.
Guess there’s no stopping Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena this year! BINI just bagged not one, not two, but five major wins at the 37th Awit Awards this 2024. Held at the Music Museum in San Juan City, the P-pop girl group took home Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Favorite Group Artist, Favorite Song of the Year, and Favorite Record of the Year for their hit “Pantropiko.” Furthermore, to top it off, their visually stunning “Karera” earned them the award for Favorite Music Video of the Year, too!
On top of their wins, BINI was also nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Performance by a Group, and Best Engineered Recording for Pantropiko, as well as Best Inspirational Recording for Karera.

Apart from BINI, Lola Amour, who had the whole country vibing to Raining in Manila, also had a massive haul. The band scored Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Recording, and Best Novelty Recording for their collab with Michael V., Waiting Here sa Pila.

Meanwhile, P-pop kings SB19 brought home two awards: Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Performance by a Group for their viral banger Gento. Member Josh Cullen also snagged Best Music Video of the Year for his solo track, Wild Tonight.
And let’s not forget Juan Karlos, fresh off his first major solo concert, who scored two wins: Best Ballad Recording for Tapusin Na Natin ’To and Best Alternative Recording for the gut-wrenching Ere.
Presented by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), the Awit Awards celebrate the best in the Philippine music scene. Specifically, they spotlight everything from viral hits to radio staples across over 30 categories. This year was all about recognizing local talent across genres like pop, rock, hip-hop, and indie, to name a few. In addition, the awards aimed to highlight the diversity and creativity of artists in the industry.
