See? The power of manifestation works! If you missed out on tickets to Laufey’s sold-out shows next month, you’re in luck. She’s bringing her captivating jazz-pop energy back to Manila once again.

As announced in her Instagram account, the Icelandic-Chinese jazz singer-songwriter is bringing The Goddess Tour to Asia and Australia this August and September, which includes stops in Japan, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, and Manila.

Laufey is Bringing Her ‘The Goddess’ Tour to the Philippines

Following her enchanting A Night at the Symphony performance with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra this May 28–29, Laufey is poised to headline her first-ever arena show in the country this September 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena. “My first arena headline in Manila ♥. Mahal kita! (I’ll also be seeing you at the symphony in May),” she penned in her account in X.

Presented by Live Nation Philippines, 24-year-old Grammy winner Laufey will continue her world tour in Asia and Australia, following the North American leg, with the following schedule:

  • August 17 – Summer Sonic, Tokyo
  • August 18 – Summer Sonic, Osaka
  • August 24 – 26 – Summer Sonic, Bangkok
  • August 27 – Plenary Hall, KL Convention Center, Kuala Lumpur
  • August 29 – Asiaworld Expo Hall 10, Hong Kong

  • September 4 – Singapore Expo, Singapore

Known for her songs From the Start, Let You Break My Heart Again, and Valentine, Laufey first took the stage in the Philippines in 2023 at the Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City. Returning with her latest single, Goddess, released in March, she is finally set to headline her concert this September.

To note, earlier this year, in February, Laufey won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys for her album Bewitched. Set for relaunch this April 26, the album will feature four new tracks, including the newly released Goddess.

As of this writing, details for ticket sales for Laufey’s upcoming concert at SM’s Mall of Asia Arena have yet to be announced. However, this presents a fantastic opportunity for more Filipinos to witness her live performance.
